Die Trying

Die Trying - Lee Child Good 3.5 stars for the second Reacher

I remember reading this directly after finishing the first book in the series, Killing Floor. And I have to say, it took some time for me to really get into the story. The set-up was somewhat farfetched, but the plot grew on me the longer I read. The ending was a little wild, the solutions partly a little too much and all over the place.

Reacher is Reacher, enough said really. He is straight forward, a lot of his world is black and white in a broader sense, and sometimes he is channeling MacGywer. You have to love him, or you'll probalby end up hating him. Me? I love this guy.

The plot is not as good, the twists not as believable as the first time around,so I can't give this more than 3.5 stars. Not Child's best work, but not bad either. And a must for every Reacher-Fan.
