"It is what you read when you don't have to that determines what you will be when you can't help it." - Oscar Wilde

About Me

I'm an avid reader living in Germany, but with a home away from home in the US. I started reading roughly in 1995/96, and never stopped. I got better at it, faster at it, got "multilingual" - although nowadays I mostly read English and German books - and broadened my horizon genre-wise. I once started out with The Three Investigators, moved on to Agatha Christie and J.R.R. Tolkien, and later branched out in every direction. Today, I mostly read M/M romance, mysteries and crime novels, but still have a lot of non-fiction, contemporary fiction and classics (or what I think of as classics) on my ever growing TBR. And since this is my blog, I'll problably post about whatever I want to post about - if you get easily offended or have homophobic, racist or fascist tendencies, please move right along. Everone else is welcome to come, stay, chat and discuss. Or just watch me explore the craziness that is the world of the written word.
