4 stars with a lot of potential

I really, really liked this story despite all my concerns going in. But Lucky was... better than I thought. Way better! I loved listening to him, getting to know his somewhat jaded view on life, and see him interacting with other people, especially Bo. Sure, it could have been annoying when he retreated behind his mask again and again, but somehow it worked for me.

I just couldn't exactly warm up to Bo. Don't get me wrong, I liked him and I rooted for these two, it just... didn't really click between us, yet. His story is interesting, his past not full of rainbows and flowers, and he is just THAT interesting. So, I'm pretty sure I'm getting there. Looking forward to the next one in the series for sure.
